Umbrella valves are normally closed valves available in the widest variety of opening pressures and flow specifications, there is always one that fits your needs. Umbrella valves are available “Pop-in Valves” for plug-and-play or as monolithic component for integration in your own seat configuration.

The cross-slit valve are in tandem with a back-up seal, and work as an access valve. It effectively tackles issues related to diverse instrument sizes and high back pressure. By utilizing back-up seals, cross-slit valves efficiently safeguard against the leakage of fluid or gas. The cross-slit valve in combination with a back-up seal is commonly utilized for medical equipment.

The cross-slit valve, belonging to the duckbill valve family, offers larger flow capacity when its cuspids open, making it advantageous over regular duckbill valves. It features a straight open path, suitable for applications where instruments are pushed through, like in Trocars for minimally invasive surgery. This valve prevents gas from venting during instrument insertion or withdrawal.

Dome valves are used in tandem with a back-up seal and work as an access valve, allowing small instruments or catheters to pass while retaining liquid or gas pressure, such as in venous access or in trocars.

 

Minivalve Back-up Seals address challenges with varying instrument diameters and high back pressure. The back-up seals can be combined with the dome valve or cross-slit valve.

Minivalve X-Fragm Valves are designed to dispense a liquid or a gas, once a pre-determined pressure threshold has been reached.

As this pressure eases the valve closes automatically, stopping the flow of product instantly.
