The solar panels have arrived at Minivalve as part of our strategy towards net-zero manufacturing.
As part of the extension of our factory in 2014. We decided to cover our roof with solar panels as part of our long term strategy towards net-zero manufacturing. “With the addition of the solar panels we are able to produce a significant portion of electricity demand in-house.” Niek Bekhuis, our manufacturing engineering manager explains. “we estimate that these panels will proceed about 25-35% of our annual electricity demand, depending on weather, of-course” he adds.
