How they work

X-fragm Dispensing valves

Minivalve X-Fragm Valves are designed to open and dispense a specific substance, once a pre-determined pressure threshold has been reached.

An example is a common liquid soap dispenser. Typically, the container is positioned upside down with the valve facing downward and yet (thanks to our valves) no product or liquid soap drips or leaks from the container. When activated with a certain prescribed amount of dispensing pressure or force however, the valve opens, allowing the product (soap) to flow. As this pressure eases and the container is no longer compressed, the valve then closes automatically, stopping the flow of product (soap) instantly.

Like the others, X-Fragm Valves have also been around for years. Their applications also include vent valves (eg: vehicle fuel tanks), intake and outlet valves (eg: piston and diaphragm pumps), one-way check valves (eg: disposable breathing masks), and countless other fluid and vapor control functions found in medical devices, home appliances, transport, toys, etc.
