History

We are a young company but proud to present our short and turbulent history below.

1999 November:


 Founder Peter Nijland designs his first valve prototypes and runs flow tests to start a company specializing in miniature elastomeric valve components from the basement of his home.
2002 March:




 The company occupies its first manufacturing building in Oldenzaal Netherlands and presents itself for the first time in public, Minivalve International BV is born! At this time www.minivalve.com is launched, the  first the trade show MEDTEC 2002 Stuttgart is attended and the US sales office in Yellow Springs Ohio is open for business.
2002 November:

 Minivalve starts manufacturing elastomeric valve component production in Oldenzaal Netherlands.
2003 January:

 The first 1 million valves produced
2003 February:

 First time attending MD&M West (2003) Anaheim, CA.
2003 December:

 First 5 million valves produced
2006

 Minivalve applies for its first Patent
2008

 Meanwhile 50 different valve solutions selling to more than 40 different countries. Minivalve has now 3 patents pending.
2010 spring






 First Patent allowed

Employing 18 minivalve professionals

Braking ground in Oldenzaal, Netherlands to create an all new office and factory building with state of the art laboratory and cleanrooms.
